A Healthy Home is a Happy Home right? YES. Here at Jordan Essentials, we love using our natural products and Essentials Oils to keep our homes clean for the whole family. Here are some of our favorite ways to get down and dirty with the power of Tea Tree Oil.

Tea Tree Essential Oil: This powerful oil has antibacterial and anti fungal properties that make it an ‘essential’ to incorporate into your cleaning routine. Here are some ways to use it around your home!

• To prevent the buildup of mold and mildew in the shower or tub, spritz a Tea Tree Oil and water solution after use. Use 1 TSP Tea Tree Oil to 1 cup of water.

• Did you know, your kitchen sink has more than 100,000 times the bacteria than the average toilet? If that isn’t reason enough to go clean it right now, I don’t know what is! For a deep clean, combine Tea Tree Oil and either warm water or baking soda to clean around the drain and base of the faucet. Let it soak in for 10-15 minutes for tougher grime. You can also use this combo to clean other areas in your home – bathroom sinks, showers, bath tubs, etc.

• If you store your toothbrush in a dark medicine cabinet (or even if you don’t!) you should clean it frequently to prevent

  bacteria from harboring right where you don’t want it! Add a drop of tea tree oil per ounce of water, and let your brush soak for 10-15 minutes. Then, rinse it thoroughly and

  allow it to air dry before next use. You can also use this solution to clean dish brushes and sponges!

• Although our Healthy Home already uses the powers of Tea Tree Oil, you can always add a few extra drops to your

  

  solution for some bonus anti-fungal and antibacterial action.

• Tea Tree Oil does a great job at tackling unpleasant smells around the home – everything from pet beds & toys to teenage gym clothes. Simply run a load of wash with your detergent and a drop or two of Tea Tree Oil to clear the air! Note: 100% Tea Tree Oil can be harmful to pets, so it is important to always dilute appropriately before use.

• Clean the trash can. This may not be the most fun cleaning task, but sometimes it just needs to be done. Add a few extra drops of Tea Tree Oil to your Healthy Home and then wipe down the entire inside and out. Once finished, spray the can down with a hose and allow it to air dry (even better if it’s in the sun!).

Healthy Home Cleaning Solution: The fresh scent of Lavender Essential Oil combines with the powerful cleansing properties of Tea Tree Essential Oil to make this a great everyday cleaning product for the home. It is biodegradable, plant-based, and free from harsh chemicals. Because it is a diluted solution, it is safe to use around pets and children on nearly any surface (glass, tile, granite, and wood). The Lavender Essential Oil also provides cleansing, purifying and deodorizing benefits!

Our Healthy Home solution is great because it’s ready to go (after diluting your concentrate) and easy to use in any situation! When you need a quick clean up, simply spray onto your surface and wipe off with a cloth or paper towel.

Remember, when using our Healthy Home concentrated formula, always dilute before use. One ounce of the concentrated solution can be added to the provided spray bottle and then topped with water! This is the most economical and environmentally friendly way to clean your home!
